Petitioner is in jail custody since 8.3.2016 in a case registered under section 307 and other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner and two others are said to have assaulted the informant by means of Dab and other weapons and the informant sustained grievous injury on his hand.

Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that the petitioner and the informant are agnates and, as a matter of fact, alleged occurrence took place on account of cutting of bamboo. Moreover, informant claims that the petitioner and other FIR named accused were pressurizing him to withdraw of a criminal case which had earlier been lodged against the petitioner and others.
