(b) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing the respondents to make payment of arrears of salary of the petitioner w.e.f. 19.06.1998 to till date."

At the out set, the learned counsel for the petitioner has confined the reliefs sought for, to issuance of a direction to the respondent authorities to pay the outstanding arrears of salary of the petitioner for the period she has worked on the post of Aanganbari Sevika at Centre No. 132, Parorahan Harijan Toli, Panchayat Parorahan, BlockNarkatiyaganj, District-West Champaran. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah for redressal of her aforesaid grievances and in case appropriate representation is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the District Magistrate,

Patna High Court CWJC No.24621 of 2013(2) dt.06-07-2023 3/3 West Champaran at Bettiah shall pass a reasoned and a speaking order thereon, in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks, thereafter. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
