18-12-2019 The present writ petition has been preferred for quashing of order dated 9-3-2019 passed by respondent no. 2 to 4, by which, the selection of the petitioner, as Bikas Mitra, has been rejected.

In this case, separate counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent no. 1 as well as respondent no. 3 to 6. In the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondent no. 1, it has specifically been mentioned in paragraph - 11 that petitioner has got alternative remedy against the order dated 9-3-2019 to file appeal before the Mission Director, Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission.

In view of aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as considering the alternative remedy of appeal available to the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to the petitioner to avail alternative remedy of appeal. It goes without saying that if any appeal is preferred by the petitioner, the appellate authority i.e. Mission Director shall examine the matter and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.
