Despite valid service of copy of petition, no one appears for the State.

The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with S.T. Excise No. 716 of 2018 arising out of Pipra P.S. Case No. 224 of 2018 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Considering the recovery of 216 liters of Indian made foreign liquor from the premises belonging to the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail. The application for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner is rejected.

In case, the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail the same shall be considered on its own merits without being
