The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Singhwara P.S. Case No. 185 of 2016 registered under Sections 304B and 34 of the I.P.C. pending in the Court of A.C.J.M.-IV, Darbhanga.

Submission is that petitioner, who happens to be the husband of the sister of the informant, is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. He has no criminal antecedent. Learned A.P.P. appearing on behalf of the State opposed the prayer of the petitioner with submission that there is direct allegation against the petitioner that due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry, he along with others killed the sister of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26570 of 2017 (3) dt.06-09-2017 2/2 informant by pressing her neck.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and nature of the allegation, I am not inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this application is rejected.
