Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the informant as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 302 and other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Taking into consideration that there is specific allegation against the petitioner and one co-accused that they mercilessly assaulted the deceased by means of lathi, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail and hence, his prayer for bail in connection with Chanan P.S. Case No. 47 of 2014 pending

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25341 of 2016 (3) dt.21-06-2016 2/2 in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lakhisarai stands rejected.
