Petitioner is in custody in connection with Ghorasahan P.S. Case No. 78 of 2020 for the offence under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

In the instant case total 30 liters of Nepali liquor was seized.

The petitioner is in custody since 1.3.2020.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand)

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21451 of 2020(2) dt.02-07-2020 2/2 with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge,Excise Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Ghorasahan P.S. Case No. 78 of 2020 subject to the condition that on release the petitioner shall render his service as volunteer in dedicated Covid-19 hospital for a period of one month. He is required to report to the district Nodal Officer who shall utilize the service of the petitioner appropriately.
