The petitioner is in custody in connection with Benipatti P.S. Case No. 198 of 2018 for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 11.10.2018. He further submits that in the instant case 205 litres of Nepali liquor was recovered.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani in connection with Benipatti P.S.
