Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

Phulwanti, wife of this petitioner, died in unnatural circumstances within three years of her marriage in her matrimonial house and there is allegation of demand of dowry and torture for the same against the in-laws including the petitioner. There is specific allegation of demand and physical assault against the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 12.08.2016. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Kutumba Police Station Case No. 70 of 2016 pending in the court

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52215 of 2016 (4) dt.30-01-2017 2/2 of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Aurangabad/successor court. Hence, prayer for bail is refused.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial. If the trial is not concluded within nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew the prayer before the court below itself. Kundan (Birendra Kumar, J) U T
