2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with C.A. Case No. 733 of 2019 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 494 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Allegation against petitioner and other co-accused persons is of commission of torture and cruelty to the complainant for dowry. Petitioner is husband of the complainant.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22301 of 2025(3) dt.11-07-2025 2/2 petitioner is innocent and he has never tortured the complainant nor demanded any dowry. Petitioner claims clean antecedent. Petitioner is in custody since 18.10.2024.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as learned counsel for the complainant vehemently opposed the bail application.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and period of custody, the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with C.A.
