The petitioner seeks bail in Sadar P.S. Case No. 110 of 2018, instituted for the offence under Section(s) 302 and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged in the written report that daughter of the informant was married with son of the petitioner namely, Lal Babu Yadav. After 6-7 months of the marriage the husband and his relatives demanded 2-3 lacs rupees and one Motorcycle as dowry and on non-fulfillment of the same, the accused persons started torturing the daughter of the informant. It is further alleged that on 3.4.2018, the informant received information from villagers that his daughter has been killed and cremated
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.77362 of 2018(3) dt.08-03-2019 2/2 by her husband and his family. Thereafter, he got knowledge that husband and all his relatives committed murder of his daughter by pressing neck.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased. He is in custody since 4.8.2018 having clean antecedent. He further submits that in the written report there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga, in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 110 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors will be the close relatives of the petitioner. (Sanjay Priya, J) S.Ali/- U T
