JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL ORDER 10-02-2016 The present petition has been filed for modification of the orders dated 21.11.2014 and 26.08.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 27221 of 2014 for extension of time for furnishing bail bonds.

2. It is submitted that the petitioners due to sheer inadvertence could not understand the full nature of the order dated 21.11.2014 granting provisional bail, though the direction for filing requisite for issuance of notice to opposite party no. 2 was complied with and it is only after final order confirming the provisional bail was passed, they came to know about the provisional bail having been earlier granted. It is further submitted that for this reason, they were unable to surrender before the learned court below and furnish bail bonds pursuant to the order dated 21.11.2014 within time.

3. Having regard to the reasons stated in the modification petition, the same is allowed and the order dated 21.11.2014 read with the order dated 26.08.2015 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 27221 of 2014 stands modified only to the extent that the period of surrender before the learned court below and furnishing bail bonds shall stand extended by a further period of four weeks from today.
