This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Khodawandpur Police Station Case No. 31 of 2014, disclosing offences under Sections 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, the first Information report has been lodged against unknown persons and the name of this petitioner has surfaces in this case during course of investigation on his confession.
