The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(i) For direction to the respondents to grant the benefits of Assured Carreer Promotion (A.C.P.) and payment thereof with interest.

(ii) For direction to pay arrears of salary on account of revised pay scale on recommendation of sixth pay revision commission."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievance. Liberty, so
