The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Belaganj P.S. Case No.22 of 2016 registered under Sections 379 and 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003, pending in the court of the Special Judge, Electric Court, Magadh Division at Gaya. The accusation is that in course of checking by the Officer of Electricity Department, the petitioner was found running a flour mill putting the 'Toka' in L.T. Line of three phases without taking the legal connection from the Electric Department and caused damaged to the Electricity Department worth Rs.2,48,321/-.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22477 of 2017 (4) dt.20-07-2017 2/2 Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected. However, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the trial court within four weeks from today and pray for regular bail, which shall be considered by the trial court in accordance with law without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
