Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 379/411/414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, co-accused Shrawan Kumar was apprehended on the spot while fleeing away and he disclosed name of the petitioner as his associate. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's name has figured during course of investigation in confessional statement of co-accused. No incriminating material has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23788 of 2023(2) dt.27-06-2023 2/2 bail. He submits that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent of similar nature.

Considering the aforesaid facts, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
