The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Tankuppa P.S. Case no. 13 of 2017, registered under Sections 304(B) and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of killing of the sister of the informant by her husband and other in-laws due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and to dispose of her dead body.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased, sister of the deceased, and she has falsely been implicated in this case with general allegation of demand of dowry and torture made upon the deceased. Further submission is that Rahul Kumar Singh, husband of the deceased, is already in custody.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.27806 of 2017 (4) dt.12-09-2017 2/2 let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, 1st, Gaya in connection with Tankuppa P.S. Case No. 13 of 2017, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
