1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned A.P.P. for the State and Mr. Arvind Kumar, learned Special P.P. appearing on behalf of the Vigilance.

2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 173 and 3(5) of the BNS as well as Sections 7, 8 and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner no. 1 is a person with clean antecedent and is a woman and petitioner no. 2 has antecedent of two cases and the informant alleges that a video on YouTube is trending showing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23059 of 2025(4) dt.18-08-2025 2/3 that petitioners were taking bribe in lieu of giving copy of the Khatiyan.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have been falsely implicated in the instant case based on a YouTube video. It is further submitted that no person has come forward to institute an FIR against the petitioners alleging that they demanded bribe in lieu of giving the copy of the Khatiyan. It is next submitted that authenticity of the YouTube video has not been examined by the expert. It is also submitted that petitioners will not abscond rather will cooperate in the investigation to prove their innocence.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned Special P.P. appearing on behalf of the Vigilance opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, let the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/Successor Court in connection with Siwan
