JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 17-01-2019 Petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Nanpur P.S. Case No. 197 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 342, 498A, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
Allegation against petitioners, who are mother-in-law, sister-in-law (Gotni), brother-in-law (Debar) and sister-in-law (Nanad) of the informant, is of subjecting her to cruelty and they have tried to kill her by sprinkling kerosene oil for demand of dowry.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is that no specific allegation has been attributed against any of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.1181 of 2019(2) dt.17-01-2019 2/2 them and husband of informant is in custody.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, let petitioners, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks from the receipt of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate, Pupri, District Sitamarhi, in connection with Nanpur P.S. Case No. 197 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and further condition that one of the bailors of the petitioners shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of the court concerned.
