The petitioner is the husband of the victim. He is accused of a case instituted under Section 304B IPC lodged by the father-in-law. Within one year of marriage, it is alleged that while the victim was being taken to naihar, poison was administered mixing with sweets. Ultimately, she died but after making a statement at the Sadar Hospital, Sitamarhi naming the petitioner. In my view, it is not a case where privilege of anticipatory bail can be extended.
