2. The petitioner, who is a Chowkidar, has been suspended under the provision of Section 9 of the Bihar Government Servants (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 2005 for having conspired and participated in manufacturing and selling liquor in an unauthorized manner. The suspension order was passed in contemplation of departmental proceeding against the

Patna High Court CWJC No.6546 of 2019 dt.23-04-2019 2/2 petitioner. A criminal case also has been lodged against him.

3. From the records, it appears that charges against the petitioner have been framed by order dated 16.10.2017 but there has been no substantial progress in the domestic proceeding against the petitioner.

4. All that this Court can, at this stage, and directs the concerned respondents to expedite the conclusion of the departmental proceeding and conclude it as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
