Petitioner seeks bail in Complaint Case No.1269-C of 2012 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 498-A, 323 Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is husband of the Complainant.

In the written report, it is alleged that Complainant was married with this petitioner about 19 years back according to Hindu rites. She was ousted from her house for nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. The Sessions Judge has mentioned in the impugned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27573 of 2019(2) dt.29-04-2019 2/2 order that matter was sent to Family Welfare Centre, DLSA, Jamui, where parties appeared, but they are not ready to settle their dispute.

From the complaint, it appears that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 28.01.2019.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the SDJM, Jamui, in connection with Complaint Case No.1269-C of 2012, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
