Mr.A.G ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 03-07-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and State. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Chand P.S. Case No. 51 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 379, 384, 427, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 37(i)(ii) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he along with other accused persons stopped the informant and pulled him out of the car and thereafter they have assaulted him, tore his shirt and damaged his car. Accused persons also took away a bag containing medicines and important documents and threatened to pay Rs.50,000/-.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to dispute as to payment of cost of fish, present case has been lodged. The petitioner is in custody since 08.05.2020.

No.21463 of 2020(2) dt.03-07-2020 2/2 Considering the totality of the facts situation, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-V-cum- special Judge, Kaimur at Bhabhua in connection with Chand P.S. Case No. 51 of 2020 with the condition that the petitioner on release will render his service as volunteer for a period of one month in dedicated Covid Hospital. He is required to report to the District Nodal Officer in the concerned region, who shall utilize his service in this pandemic.
