The present petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- "(i) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or writs, direction or directions commanding upon the respondents to deduct the salary of the respondent No.8 who has been appointed on compassionate ground upon the death of petitioner husband and to pay the same to the petitioner as well as her children for maintenance or in the alternative remove him from the service of Police constable ( Hawaldar ) and in his place

Patna High Court CWJC No.17119 of 2015(2) dt.15-09-2023 2/2 appoint the son of the petitioner who now has become major. "

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna for redressal of her subsisting grievances. Liberty so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate petition is filed before the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna i.e. the respondent no. 2 within a period of four weeks from today, the respondent no. 2 shall consider the same on merits and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, thereafter. 3.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
