The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Excise Case No. 552 (A) of 2020 arising out of Bounsi P.S. Case No. 259/2020 registered for the offence under Sections 411, 420, 468, 469 and 471 of the IPC and 30(a), 32, 33 and 34 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The petitioner is in custody since 20.12.2022 and the petitioner has 20 antecedents and there is recovery of total 3963.96 liter of illicit foreign liquor from the truck. Considering the antecedent of the petitioner and the recovery, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. This application stands rejected.

However, the petitioner is permitted to renew his

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23909 of 2023(2) dt.15-05-2023 2/2 application for bail if he is granted bail in all the cases registered against him.
