Petitioner seeks bail in Supaul (Mahila) P.S. Case No.62 of 2019 registered under Sections 323, 498A, 504, 506 and 34 of the IPC and under Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
The informant is father-in-law of the petitioner. The informant alleged that the petitioner subjected his wife to physical and mental torture due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry of Rs.1 lac.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to keep his wife and he has already filed undertaking before the learned court below stating that he is ready to keep his wife with all honour and dignity. The petitioner is in jail since 15.11.2019. The petitioner has already

Having considered the facts and the nature of allegations made against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has already remained in jail for about nine months, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Supaul in connection with Supaul (Mahila) P.S. Case No.62 of 2019.
