The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 341, 323, 307, 504, 354A of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case is that on 30.4.2016 at 8.00 AM the petitioner being the brother-in-law of the informant abused and assaulted the informant with iron rod. Thereafter he again tried to enter iron rod in her stomach but she tried to save herself. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in the background of the land dispute the accusation has been levelled. The doctor, who examined the informant, found a lacerated wound on scalp of head and swelling bruise and small abrasion on right forearm. It is suggested that the accusation is not corroborated with the medical report. Statement has been made in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25412 of 2016 (2) dt.23-06-2016 paragraph 3 of the application that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in Katihar (Town) P.S.Case No. 301/2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
