On account of non payment of Chanda during Durga Puja, it has been alleged that while emersion procession was going on, some of its members assaulted manager of informant, namely, Satish Kumar as well as the informant himself and further threatened that if similar kind of activity is followed, then in that event, he will be given a lesson. Then thereafter, he named the petitioner to be the President of Puja Samiti.

Petitioner's presence, without any sort of allegation happens to be on account of being President of Puja Samiti. As such, petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned lower court with a prayer for regular bail which the learned lower court will consider favourably in the light of aforesaid finding. With the aforesaid observation, the instant petition is disposed of.
