2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80(2), 103 and 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

3. It is a case of 'Dowry Death'. It is alleged that sister of the informant was married with co-accused Arun Kumar on 28.04.2015 and after the marriage, when sister of informant went to her Sasural, all the accused persons named in the F.I.R., including this petitioner, subjected her to cruelty and harassment for additional demand of dowry and due to nonfulfillment of same, on 22.07.2024, they killed sister of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23519 of 2025(2) dt.09-07-2025 2/3 informant and disappeared her dead-body. On search, the deadbody of sister of informant was found in a bush.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. Informant is not eye-witness to the occurrence and only on suspicion, petitioner and others have been made accused. Petitioner is distant uncle of husband of deceased and has got no concern with the alleged occurrence. Petitioner is separate in mess and property. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioners.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances, general and omnibus nature of accusation and clean antecedents of the petitioner, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the above named petitioner, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Lalganj P.S. Case No. 215 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section
