Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No.204C2 of 2023 dated 28.02.2023 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 37 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The main submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner are that the petitioner is a young person and as per allegation he was found in intoxicated condition and except the consumption of liquor there is no any other allegation against this petitioner and he is a very poor labourer and has been languishing in jail since 01.03.2023 and against him the investigation has been completed.

Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the bail prayer.

Considering the above submissions and mainly the petitioner's young age and the nature of allegation and also the completion of investigation against him, in the opinion of this Court a lenient approach can be taken in respect of the petitioner's prayer, let the petitioner be released on bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No.204C2 of 2023 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned.
