1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case no.14 of 2024 registered under sections 420, 406, 467, 468, 471, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that he is a social activist. It transpired that some hulla was being raised and on an enquiry, he was told by the women that form was being filled on the terms that beneficiary would get Rs.1.2 lacs under certain schemes. It is stated that information was given to the Block Development Officer, Sugauli and the Officer-in-Charge of the police station and a raid was conducted. However, the petitioner and one another escaped while others were caught.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case because of village politics. The allegations against the petitioner are false and concocted. He has remained in custody since 11.1.2024 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.
5. The application for bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.
6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner in the FIR, his having remained in custody for 6 months since 11.1.2024 and chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case no.14 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Motihari, District East Champaran.
