Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 386,387 of the Indian Penal Code.

Ransom was demanded on mobile call and FIR was registered against unknown. During investigation, the said SIM No. was found to be of Mr. Kaushal Rai and not of the petitioner. Only the spies reported about the involvement of the petitioner in the occurrence. Petitioner is in custody since 02.08.2019. Investigation of the case is already complete. Though the petitioner had got criminal antecedent, considering the fact that there is no material against the petitioner in the present case, let the petitioner, above named,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26118 of 2020(4) dt.14-12-2020 2/2 be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Mahindwara P.S. Case No.23 of 2018 with following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.

(c) The petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the trial Court.
