The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khaira P.S. Case No. 65 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 30(a), New Excise Act 2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 16.02.2023, petitioner has clean antecedent and there is recovery of 346.31 liters of foreign liquor of different brand.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed.
