The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bettiah Muffasil (Manuapul) P.S. Case No. 667 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 324, 307, 337, 338, 353 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-b) and 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 11.12.2018. He further submits that allegation against the petitioner is that he was among 190 persons made accused for obstructing construction of police station building.
