2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 96 and 3(5) of the B.N.S..
3. As per prosecution case, this petitioner is alleged to have abducted the daughter of informant.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case with ulterior motive. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.
5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to

No.22025 of 2026(2) dt.15-04-2026 2/2 the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation that he, along with co-accused person, kidnapped daughter of informant. During investigation, the victim was recovered and in her statement recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S., she has supported the prosecution case and has categorically stated that this petitioner, along with co-accused Abhijit, forcibly took her away and also prepared her obscene video and uploaded it on social media.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, specific and direct nature of accusation, gravity of offence and statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S., the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
