The petitioner seeks bail in Kotwali(Jogsar) P.S. Case No.56 of 2020 registered under Sections 20 and 22 of N.D.P.S. Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Rajeev Kumar and Ravi Kumar(the petitioner) were apprehended. From the possession of the petitioner, 0.860 mg. of brown sugar was recovered. It is submitted that upto 5 gms. of brown sugar is less quantity. Less than 1 gm. brown sugar is alleged to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and for that, the petitioner is in jail since 23.01.2020.

Considering the facts that small quantity of brown sugar is recovered from the possession of the petitioner and for that the petitioner has remained in jail for more than five months, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge-XII, Bhagalpur in connection with Kotwali(Jogsar) P.S. Case No.56 of 2020, corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No.03/2020.
