JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 04-07-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is contended that two buffaloes were recovered from the agricultural land whereas one of them was recovered from the possession of co-accused Kari Ram. It is further contended that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. His name has come during investigation on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Kari Ram. It is urged that antecedent of the petitioner is also clean. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Lalan Yadav be released on bail in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26249 of 2016 (2) dt.04-07-2016 2/2 a period of six weeks from today in connection with Bihariganj P.S. Case No.144/2015, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000 (Ten Thousand Rupees) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Uda Kishunganj, Madhepura subject to the conditions as laid down under sub-section (2) of Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
