The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Karagahar P.S. Case No.163 of 2016 registered under Section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that his daughter (Asarita Devi) was married to Rakesh Mishra in the year 2016 but due to nonfulfillment of additional demand of dowry, Rakesh Mishra, his father, mother and other relatives killed his daughter and disposed of her dead body.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is mother-in-law of the daughter of informant. Similarly situated other accused persons, namely, Rekha Devi, Puja Devi and Upnesh Pandey, who are sisters-in-law and brother-in-law of the daughter of informant, have already been

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.22220 of 2019(2) dt.08-04-2019 2/2 granted anticipatory bail. The case of this petitioner stands on same footing. Asarita Devi (daughter of informant) left the house of the petitioner and she was not killed rather the police is investigating the case on the line that she was kidnapped. Having considered the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner is mother-in-law and similarly situated other accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail, the above named petitioner, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Karagahar P.S. Case No.163 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
