The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bhaptiyahi P.S. Case No.31 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 304B, 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.
Allegation against the petitioner is to have committed murder of daughter of the informant due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. 4.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and living separately in mess and business from the husband of the deceased and he has no

It is submitted that similarly situated co-accused person has already been granted bail by this Court through Cr. Misc. No.62997 of 2023 on 05.10.2023. It is also submitted that matter has been compromised between the parties through compromise petitioner filed before learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul. It is further submitted that petitioner is a man of clean antecedent and he is in custody since 17.11.2023. 5.
Learned APP appearing for the State, opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 6.
Considering the facts and circumstances and submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail in connection with Bhaptiyahi P.S. Case No.31 of 2023 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul.
