The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 304B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the daughter of the informant who was married to the petitioner was regularly tortured and beaten up for dowry and was ultimately killed and her body cremated.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The wife of the petitioner died an unfortunate natural death as a result of diarrhoea and the cremation took place with the consent of the members of the informant's family. The petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.36030 of 2021(3) dt.21-01-2022 2/2 is in custody since 17.2.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Charge sheet has been submitted in the case.

Heard learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the allegations in the FIR and the petitioner being the husband of the deceased, the Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and the application is rejected.
