JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-10-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For issuance of an appropriate writ for quashing the memo no. 175 dated 21.08.2012 issued by the District Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah whereby and whereunder the claim of the petitioner has been rejected on the ground of the relaxation of over age and the panel

Patna High Court CWJC No.18459 of 2015(2) dt.06-10-2023 2/2 has been automatically lapsed on 31.03.12 as to when the said panel has been published on 30.11.11 as contained as Annexure- 17 to this writ petition.

(ii). For issuance of an appropriate writ commanding the respondent authorities to appoint the petitioner on the post of IVth grade employees in Collectriate, West Champaran, Bettiah after relaxation of age to the petitioner as per direction of Additional Secretary, General Administration Department, Govt. of Bihar, Patna, vide letter no. 3525 dated 5.9.2011, as contained in Annexure-12 to this writ petition." 2.

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
