The petitioner apprehends his arrest in G.O. Excise Case No. 11 of 2015, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 47(A) of the Excise Act.

The police raided the shoe shop of the petitioner from where 50 litres of country made liquors were recovered. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that nothing is recovered from the possession of the petitioner but it appears that a seizure list was prepared after recovery of 50 litres of country made liquor from the shop of the petitioner. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
