The petitioner being the husband of the informant is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 498A, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The basic accusation is of torture for nonfulfillment of the dowry demand. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the issue has been resolved between the parties and a compromise petition has been filed before the learned court below.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26472 of 2016 (3) dt.30-08-2016 2/2 Mr. Ramesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the informant, does not controvert the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

In the circumstances, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Sikty P.S. Case No. 58 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. It is expected from the learned court below to conclude the proceeding in view of the present stand of the parties expeditiously, preferably, within a period of two months.
