The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Phulparas P.S. Case No. 487 of 2021 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Recovery of illicit liquor has been made from the house of the petitioner and son-in-law of the petitioner has been arrested. It is unbelievable that when 31.500 litres of illicit liquor is kept in the house, the petitioner will have no knowledge.

Considering the above, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. This application for anticipatory bail is dismissed.
