JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 18-01-2019 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code. The stolen bag containing some articles is said to have been recovered from the hut of the petitioner for which the petitioner is in jail custody since 25.8.2018. Moreover, the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedents, which is evident from paragraph 3 of the bail petition.
