The petitioner is in custody since 09.01.2019 in connection with Chanpatia (Sirisia O.P) P.S. Case No. 339 of 2018 for the offence registered under Sections 467, 468, 471 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a)/30 (b) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the alleged recovery of six liters of liquor from the Bolero vehicle at the door step of the petitioner has been attributed to the present petitioner, he has nothing to do with the same. Neither the vehicle nor the liquor has any connection with the petitioner and he has been roped in on mere suspicion. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of
