The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Hussainganj P.S. Case No.277 of 2018 registered under Sections 30(a), 36 and 41(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Considering the allegation made in the first information report that the petitioner was deeply involved in illegal trade of liquor and recovery of about twenty five liters of liquor from the joint house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant him pre-arrest bail.

The application for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner is rejected.

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same shall be considered on its own merits without being
