The present petition has been filed for quashing of the First Information Report of Gaya Tekari P.S. Case No. 295 of 2014, dated 20.09.2014, which has been registered for the offences under Sections 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.27194 of 2016(2) dt.16-09-2020 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner has informed this Court that charge-sheet in this case has been submitted. In view of the aforesaid submission, I am not inclined to accede to the prayer of the petitioner for quashing of the subject F.I.R.

The prayer for quashing the F.I.R. is, therefore, rejected.

However, the petitioner would be at liberty to avail of the remedies to which he is entitled under law. With the aforesaid observation, the application stands disposed off.
