Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 47(a) of Bihar Excise Act.

Allegation is of recovery of 30 litre of illicit country made liquor from the possession of petitioner. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case on mere suspicion only. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of petitioner rather the recovery has been made from village Agahra whereas village of petitioner is Karkara Choupal. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
