The petitioner is in custody in connection with Khutauna P.S. Case No. 09 of 2019 (G.R. No. 99 of 2019) for the offence under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 (a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He further submits that in the instant case 459 liters liquor was seized. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is only driver of the vehicle and he has no knowledge about the fact that the liquor was kept inside the vehicle. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no concern with the illegal trade of liquor. He submits that petitioner is in custody since 18.01.2019.

Sessions Judge-II-Cum Special Judge, Excise, Act, Madhubani in connection with Khutauna P.S. Case No. 09 of 2019, G.R. No. 99 of 2019.
